In a thrilling move to mark its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Spacetoon, the leading content creator, producer, and streamer, announced a landmark collaboration with Ahmad Al-Gandour (El-Da7ee7) and The Post Office, the production arm of his widely popular edutainment brand. The partnership produced an original animated series titled “The Last Da7ee7 on Earth” (آخر دحيح على الارض), marking the first time El-Da7ee7’s iconic persona transitioned into an animated character.

Revealed through a viral social media post, the animation promised a family-friendly approach to El-Da7ee7’s signature style, blending humor, science fiction, and thought-provoking storytelling. Aimed at both young audiences and adults, the animation tackled unconventional themes in an engaging format, empowering a new generation to think critically while staying entertained.

While El-Da7ee7 had long captivated adult viewers with his YouTube content garnering over 1.5 billion views as of 2022, this collaboration leveraged Spacetoon’s massive platform to inspire younger demographics. The series streamed across Spacetoon’s TV channel, Spacetoon Go app, and YouTube channel, reaching over 118 million viewers globally.

The project followed Spacetoon’s proven strategy of adapting top content creators into animated hits. Notably, The Moshaya Family, based on Saudi YouTuber Mohamed Moshaya’s life, amassed 65 million views across three seasons.

El-Da7ee7’s YouTube phenomenon was renowned for breaking down complex topics from science to philosophy into witty, accessible content. By reimagining this format for animation, Spacetoon strengthened its position as a pioneer in edutainment, aligning with Al-Gandour’s accolades, including his 2024 role as ambassador for the 1 Billion Followers Summit and recognition as one of the Arab world’s most influential figures.

Following the poster’s unveiling, Spacetoon announced that a new teaser was set to release shortly, featuring additional insights into the characters, animation, and visual style of the series.
