Bahrain Summer Toy Festival Concluded with Over 120,000 Visitors

Manama, Aug. 6 (BNA): The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Spacetoon announced the conclusion of the second edition of the Bahrain Summer Toy Festival, which attracted approximately 120,000 visitors, including residents and tourists.

Organized in strategic partnership with Spacetoon, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre and the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), the festival has further cemented its position as a premier family entertainment destination in the Kingdom.

Dana Osama Al Saad, Deputy CEO for Resources and Projects at the BTEA, affirmed that the festival’s growing reputation as a unique entertainment experience was reinforced in its second consecutive year. She emphasized that the event has become a key fixture on Bahrain’s annual events calendar, contributing to the diversification of the Kingdom’s tourism offerings and reinforcing its appeal as a preferred destination for Gulf families during summer.

Al Saad noted that the festival’s success was evident from the substantial attendance recorded over its six-week duration. Enhancements in the scale and quality of the event were also highlighted, including the doubling of venue space and the inclusion of a greater number of celebrities, live shows, and concerts. Tickets, which were issued in line with the venue’s physical capacity, sold out early on most days.

She also highlighted the positive feedback received from attendees, particularly citizens and residents of other GCC countries. Al Saad praised the pivotal role of 180 Bahraini volunteers whose contributions were instrumental in ensuring the festival’s high organizational standards.
