The third edition of the Qatar Toy Festival attracted a huge number of visitors, particularly on weekends, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, it was learnt.
The event, which ran until August 4, became a go-to destination for families and children seeking a mix of entertainment, education, and interactive experiences in a lively atmosphere.
From its opening on July 6, organisers noted that the festival had offered an expansive programme catering to diverse interests. Visitors were treated to engaging stage shows, lively musical performances, and fascinating science and educational demonstrations. It also featured meet-and-greets with popular characters, alongside a variety of family-friendly activities designed to create lasting memories.
A standout attraction, particularly for younger attendees, were the daily summer camps (excluding Fridays) for children aged 4–12. These popular camps, powered by Science Street and other partners, provided a creative outlet through engaging workshops.
The festival, sponsored by Ooredoo, boasted an impressive lineup of more than 40 international toy brands. Attendees explored interactive zones brought to life by beloved characters and dived into five distinct immersive zones thoughtfully curated for different age groups and preferences.
According to the organisers, a special celebration for people with disabilities was held on Saturday at 7pm. The festival’s final week embraced a “back-to-school” theme, which attracted a surge of young visitors preparing for the academic year.
