Dubai, UAE, August 18th, 2026 | Anime fans across the region are in for a big thrill as the 29th feature film in the iconic franchise, Detective Conan: Fallen Rider of the Highway, prepares for its theatrical launch across MENA on August 20.
The story begins during a trip to a motorcycle event in Yokohama, where Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Togo, and Masumi Sera end up in an unexpected crisis. When a mysterious rider on a black bike starts causing trouble, traffic police officer Chihaya Hagiwara jumps into action. A wild chase follows, bringing back unresolved secrets from the past. Now, Conan must work quickly to reveal the truth behind the mystery before time runs out.
Brought to big screens by Spacetoon Pictures, the film will be available with Arabic and English subtitles in KSA, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq, alongside an exclusive Arabic-dubbed version in Saudi Arabia.
The movie set a new opening-weekend record in Japan, debuting at #1 at the box office with over 3.5 billion yen (around $21.9 million) and selling more than 2.3 million tickets in its first three days alone.
As part of the launch activities for the film, Spacetoon Pictures is hosting an exclusive early premiere on August 18 at Reel Cinemas in Granada Mall, Riyadh. The special event will bring together 150 media members and influencers for an exclusive screening, alongside promotional partner Little Things and media coverage partner Khosh Fikra.
