Streaming App Spacetoon Go Released Arabic Version of Kuroko’s Basketball

The Japanese 2012 anime series Kuroko’s Basketball has recently been released in the Middle East with an Arabic dub, available exclusively on Spacetoon’s online streaming app, Spacetoon Go.

The series originally aired in Japan almost a decade ago and is based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s sports manga series.

According to Spacetoon Group, the Arabic dubbed version of Kuroko’s Basketball preserves the original character names and carefully translates the dialogue from Japanese.

Bringing Kuroko’s Basketball to Spacetoon Go is part of the streaming app’s new content strategy.

A key feature of the Arabic version is the inclusion of well-known voice actors popular among Spacetoon fans, such as Rafat Bazo, who previously lent his voice to characters like Joe in Megalo Box and Kaito Kid in the Detective Conan series. Eyas Abu Ghazala is another, recognized for voicing Naruto in the Naruto series.

As of October 31, Spacetoon Go had released the second episode of Kuroko’s Basketball.

The VOD app also features a wide range of other anime series in Arabic, including Dragon Ball Super, Made in Abyss, Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On, Detective Conan, and Hunter x Hunter (2011).
