pacetoon and Sphere Media Premiered New Preschool Series Moka

Arab region family content producer and streamer Spacetoon, together with Canadian TV & film production company Sphere Media, announced the premiere of their animated series Moka. The show, aimed at children ages 3 to 5, followed the mini adventures of Moka, a baby bear who loved to drift off and be carried away into a dreamlike world of captivating shapes and colors. Designed for preschoolers, the series built literacy, numeracy, and color recognition skills in an enjoyable and entertaining way.

Moka was the result of a collaboration between Spacetoon and Sphere Media’s Kids & Family division. The original idea was developed by Ghislain Cyr (Creative Director, Sphere Media Kids & Family), who brought to animated life the musical plush toy named Moka created by Isabelle Sciotto, founder of Moka Toutou Musical.

“We were excited to introduce Moka to our young audience,” said Fayez Al-Sabbagh, President of Spacetoon. “With its captivating visuals and well-structured content, Moka promised to be a cherished addition to our lineup of high-quality children’s programming.”

Cyr added, “We were thrilled to collaborate with Spacetoon on this project. With such an amazing reach in the MENA region, we hoped the Arabic to English version of the series would entertain preschoolers while teaching them new words, which was the very essence of this series.”

Moka aired on Sundays and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. KSA on Spacetoon TV, with new episodes made available on Spacetoon Go.
