Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3rd of June, 2026: Spacetoon has announced recently that its newly released 2D animated series, Abir and the Little Prince, has won a People’s Telly Award. Developed in collaboration with award-winning content creator and chef Abir El-Saghir, whose global audience exceeds 75 million followers, the 10-episode series has rapidly gained popularity among children and young adults since its debut on Spacetoon.
With over 13,000 entries from across the globe and top video and television content producers. Winners were chosen by The Telly Awards Judging Council, which features more than 250 experts across the world of video.
Reflecting on this achievement, Ahmad Weiss, General Manager of Spacetoon Entertainment, said: “We are proud that Abir and the Little Prince has been recognized by the Telly Awards. This achievement also reflects Spacetoon’s broader strategic vision.The award follows a landmark year for the company, marked by the announcement of partnerships with leading content creators, including AboFlah, El-Daheeh, Abir El-Saghir, and ALJ Sisters.
Through these collaborations, Spacetoon continues to expand its portfolio of original animated content for children and young audiences, combining the creators’ influence with meaningful storytelling that promotes positive values, encourages healthy habits, and fosters stronger community connections.
The series introduces Abir as a vibrant, adventurous character who brings her culinary magic to life for young viewers. Aimed at children aged 6–12, the show follows the journey of a heroic young chef with a unique superpower. Set in a colorful kingdom, the story centers on Abir’s heartfelt mission to help a young prince overcome depression while navigating his challenges as a differently-abled character. Each episode takes children on a new adventure as Abir encounters memorable characters, spreads kindness, and solves problems through creativity, empathy, and delicious food.
