Moonbug Entertainment Released Two New Arabic-Dubbed Titles on Spacetoon

Moonbug Entertainment released two new Arabic-dubbed titles across Spacetoon channels for kids and families.

Spacetoon, the family-friendly content provider, producer, and broadcaster, expanded its partnership with Moonbug Entertainment by adding two new titles to the deal, Morphle and Oddbods, which became available across Spacetoon TV and the Spacetoon Go online streaming service in Arabic dubbing.

Through this partnership, Spacetoon was named the licensing agent for Morphle and Oddbods, responsible for licensing the brands in the MENA markets and providing kids’ products and merchandise.

Oddbods, a non-dialogue show featuring the madcap yet charming antics of seven unique characters – Jeff, Pogo, Newt, Fuse, Zee, Slick, and Bubbles – entertained and inspired children around the world while celebrating individuality and diversity. The show had been acquired by Moonbug Entertainment and aired in more than 180 countries. The brand also grew a massive presence on digital platforms like YouTube, amassing 28M subscribers and averaging 26BN views across its sixteen YouTube channels.

My Magic Pet Morphle followed the fantastical adventures of Mila and her magical pet Morphle, who could transform into anything. Centered on wish-fulfilment and pretend-play exploration, the show empowered kids to use teamwork, creativity, and logic to solve problems. Mila, Morphle, and their friends came together to protect the town and save the day.

Nicolas Eglau, Managing Director EMEA & APAC, Moonbug Entertainment, said:
“We were thrilled to extend our partnership with Spacetoon to share our much-loved brands Morphle and Oddbods with their viewers. We looked forward to working with the team at Spacetoon and the opportunities this might bring in this significant region.”

Morphle also thrived in the digital space with its five YouTube channels, collectively drawing over 32M subscribers and more than 14BN views. The 35 channels provided audiences with Morphle content in multiple languages.

The MENA markets welcomed Morphle and Oddbods merchandise by Q2 2023, while the localized and dubbed content started airing on Spacetoon TV and Spacetoon Go in the same period.

Spacetoon also revealed plans to bring more international and in-demand brands to MENA through content and licensing.
